Social Media Coordinator

Katie Kelly, born and raised in Moultrie, holds a Master’s in Deaf Education from Valdosta State University, graduating in 2018. She served as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in the Colquitt County School System from 2016 to 2021 before transitioning to her current role as an Audio Video Technology & Film Teacher within the school system.

Commencing her exploration of social media marketing in April 2020, Katie joined forces with Laurie Scarrow and the Hearing Center of Moultrie in June 2021. As the Social Media Coordinator, she strategically plans and creates content for Facebook, edits videos, schedules posts, and actively engages with the online community.

“It is a passion of mine to raise awareness of hearing loss and the options people have when they are diagnosed with hearing loss. I love sharing my knowledge and research findings here in Moultrie and the surrounding communities through social media,” Katie noted.
